Terms of Service

1. Agreeing to these terms

These terms are an agreement between you and [Operator name] ("we", "us"), who runs Ontario Roadie at ontarioroadie.ca. By using the site you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.

If you're under 18 (the age of majority in Ontario), please go through these terms with a parent or guardian. They agree to these terms on your behalf and are responsible for your use of the site. If you're under 13, please use Ontario Roadie only with a parent or guardian's permission.

Our Privacy Policy explains how information is handled and is part of these terms.

2. A practice tool, not official training

3. Stay safe

Never use Ontario Roadie, or any phone or screen, while operating a real vehicle. Learning to drive safely takes real, supervised practice with a fully licensed driver. Take breaks if you play for a long time.

4. Using the site fairly

You agree not to:

We may block access for anyone who breaks these rules.

5. Content and ownership

The game, its code, artwork, logo and practice questions belong to [Operator name] and are protected by copyright. You may use them for your own personal, non-commercial learning.

Road sign images are from the Official MTO Driver's Handbook, © King's Printer for Ontario, and remain the property of their owner.

6. Free plan and Pro passes

Free plan. Anyone can play without an account. The free plan includes 5 minutes of Free Roam driving a day (resetting at midnight on your device), the Traffic Light test route, a fixed 20-question practice set, sign quizzes and your readiness score. We may change what the free plan includes.

Pro passes. A Pro pass unlocks unlimited Free Roam driving, every test route, the full G1 question bank and mock test, missed-question review and the full readiness report. You can buy:

A pass starts when you buy it and lasts 30 days or 1 year. If you buy a pass while another is still active, the new one starts when the current one ends, so you don't lose any time. Any applicable taxes are shown at checkout.

One-time payment, no auto-renewal. Each pass is a single payment. It doesn't renew and you won't be charged again. When it ends, your account goes back to the free plan. If you'd like more time, for yourself or for another learner in your family, buy a new pass.

Accounts. To buy Pro you sign in with an email address, so your pass works on any device where you sign in. A pass belongs to one account and is for the personal use of the learner using that account.

Under 18. If you're under 18, a parent or guardian must make or approve the purchase. They can buy the pass with their own email address and sign in on your device.

Payments. Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.

Refunds. If you're not happy with a pass, email us at support@ontarioroadie.ca within 14 days of buying it and we'll refund it in full. When a pass is refunded, Pro ends on that account. This doesn't limit any rights you have under Ontario's Consumer Protection Act, 2002.

Changes to Pro. We may change Pro's features or prices for future purchases. A pass you've already bought keeps everything it included for its full term.

7. Service provided "as is"

We work to keep Ontario Roadie accurate and running, but we provide it "as is" and can't promise it will always be available, error-free or up to date. We may change, pause or stop any part of it at any time. If we permanently stop offering Pro while your pass is active, we'll refund the unused part of it.

Your progress (driving time, scores and routes passed) is saved only in your browser, so it can be lost if you clear your browser data or switch devices. Your Pro pass is stored with your account and isn't affected.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of Ontario Roadie, including relying on it to prepare for a test or for real driving. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have that can't be limited by law, including your rights under Ontario's Consumer Protection Act, 2002.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. Any dispute will be handled by the courts of Ontario.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We'll post the new version here with a new effective date. If you keep using the site after a change, you accept the updated terms. Changes don't affect a pass you've already bought.
